THE PANTS

These pants were my first finished garment I've done, which was for my Sophomore Year Studio course. It was an individual study, so I took the opportunity to learn how to work off my measurements and pattern from absolute scratch. We had the opportunity to work on the project in 3 iterations, and this piece is iteration 3 out of 3. I included my previous iterations below in the portfolio. During this process, I learned a lot about how different fabrics work on the sewing machine, how different fabric drapes, and how important small increments are to patterning.
